PLA (polylactic acid) is a thermoplastic polyester which has become a popular material because it can be produced from renewable resources. And it is the most widely used in medical implants, packaging, 3D printing, etc.
On PAL T-shirt bag making machines, the PLA material can be cut and sealed with the heat-sealing unit due to its thermoplastic property. The speed of cutting should be little slower than cutting typical plastic films to produce high quality biodegradable T-shirt bags.
